- Location: Crane Elementary School
- June 10- July 18, 2024 (6 week program) ** No session on July 4th
- Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 11:30AM
- Teachers: Compensation: $60/hr. Perfect attendance bonus: $1000
- Must be committed to student academic success for both Crane Elementary Students and External Students
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Classroom teaching experience
Oregon Teacher Certification - highly qualified
Preference given to those with Reading Specialist, ESL Certification, Master’s Degree in Education or Social Work, and/or Behavior Specialist
Ability to work with Staff, Students and Families
Ability to plan and implement an innovative summer program for 1st through 4th Grade Students
Adaptable, flexible, and willingness to learn new technologies
Our turnaround Summer Program Teacher will skillfully demonstrate:
Strong desire and ability to achieve outstanding student achievement results in a short amount of time
Ability to build meaningful, caring relationships with students
Ability to motivate students and influence their behaviors
Collaborative creation and execution of clear, logical instructional plans that produce strong results in student learning with a focus on whole child development and social skill building
Development of organized routines, communicate clear expectations, and grow a positive summer learning culture
Building a professional environment that is one of mutual respect, teamwork, and accountability
Have fun! Make learning in the summer fun for teachers, students and families!
Selection Committee: Teachers will be selected based on fit to the age group ability to improve student academic achievement, and fit to the Summer School program. Interviews will be conducted if necessary.

CRANE ELEMENTARY/CRANE UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICTS
JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Kitchen Supervisor
Primary Responsibility: Prepare and serve High School, Elementary, teachers and staff.
Hours: As scheduled by the superintendent and the board of education.
Salary & Benefits: Salary as established by the board of education as related to responsibilities and performance. Fringe benefits as established by the board of education.
Reports to: Superintendent
Duties may include all or part of the following:
Prepare and serve breakfast
Prepare and serve elementary lunch.
Prepare lunch for High School
Prepare after dinner snack for High School
Order all groceries, prepare menus, and attend state classes for Food Service. Call in extra help for tournaments and banquets.
Call substitutes.
Plan menus for night cook.
Come in periodically to supervise night position.
Supervise the cleaning kids that have kitchen jobs.
Send and prepare all sports lunches and field trip food.
Keep sanitary records and Health Inspection records on file.
Fill out ordering forms for Sue.
Come in early for trips, cook on Saturdays and Fridays as needed.
Carry out job duties and responsibilities in a manner which assures the safe and healthful operation of school.
Adhere to all policies, rules and regulations as adopted by the school board and outlined by the superintendent.
Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
